Nestled in the Steenkampsberg mountain range near Dullstroom, the Higland Gate Golf & Trout Estate offers stunning trail running in pristine nature. Crystal clear streams, trout dams, spectacular views and lovely trails will give trail runners a true trail running experience.

Registration Venue:

The Highland Gate Club House is the race venue and registrations will be at the club house.

Registration Times:
Absolutely no late entries will be accepted on race morning. Pre-entries only!

Registrations are from 6h00 - 07h00

Race Start Times:
6km – 7h00
17km – 7h15
11km – 7h30
Please note that we have many walkers on the 6km route so the 6km race will start first to minimise congestion on the trails in the river forest section.


Substitutions and entry changes:

Substitutions and changes are allowed on race morning but no new entries. 

In the Race Village:
Participants and supporters must wear their masks in the race village at all times and maintain social distancing. We will have sanitising stands at the registration points so please sanitise.
Once you have registered and have you timing tag, please move out of the building to the lawn area where you will await your turn to enter the start area at the specified time.

You are allowed to take off your mask once the your race has started. 

Food and drinks:
The venue will be selling coffee, tea and fruits before the race start and cooldrinks, beer, pancakes, fries, chicken prego rolls and boerie rolls after the race.


2 x Water points for the 17km run (water, coke and light snacks)

1 x Water point for the 11km (water and coke)

1 x water point on the 6km run (water and coke)
There will have a hydration zone for all at the finish.

Prize-giving will be shortly after the top three male and female runners of all three distances have crossed the finish line.
